Kimberley was born in the bush, grew up in country Queensland, lived in the big smoke and fate landed her in Alice Springs. Kimberley’s early life in the saddle fostered a spirit of adventure. She befriended discipline and stamina on an athlete’s track. She followed her heart and imagination, graduated from university and dived into life. Trained in the humanities, she worked in various industries, sport, music, policing, social services, transport and tourism. All a while travelling and discovering this world. In fact, a 3784 km solo adventure upon her classic Triumph Bonneville cemented her commitment to Alice Springs.
Kimberley’s 10 years of professional driving includes operating coaches, buses, bus/trucks, land cruisers, 4WD’s – off road and sealed. She’s tried her hand at a Road Train or two. She’s guided for the big tour companies in Central Australia and delivered coach loads of fun. As well as personal experiences for private, small groups and solo travelers. She’s proud to have transported countless passengers to many remote communities within Central Australia. All of this and more culminated in creating Wild Honey Travels. Kimberley, is proud to be a trailblazing female owner operator who personally delivers tours, bush passenger and charter services in Central Australia.
She shares her passion and inquisitiveness for contemporary and popular Australian Cultures, living two ways upon ancient lands. She strives to provide insightful, safe and happy interactions with local people. She showcases the natural beauty of this ancient land, the eclectic mix of people and activities.
